Government surveillance and data collection aren't about stopping terrorism — they're about preventing mass awakening and collective resistance

They tell us it's for safety, but every leaked program shows it's used to monitor activists, dissidents, and anyone questioning power. When people start connecting dots on inequality, endless wars, or ecological collapse, surveillance lets authorities nip "dangerous" ideas in the bud. A truly free society wouldn't need to hoover up everyone's texts, searches, and movements. The panopticon isn't protection — it's preemptive thought control to maintain the status quo. End mass surveillance or admit we're not free.
